16th Century Prague.

You are Rabbi Yitzchak Horowitz.

Your people have been subjected to pogroms.

Night after night.

You have been powerless to stop them.

Until now.

And From The Earth....is a game that was made for the Yames Jam 2021 (late though it may have been). It is a Visual Novel based on the story of the creation of the Golem of Prague.

This game's visuals were made with a combination of sculpting real clay and photoshop.

Please read the README that comes with the game! (Though I forgot to update it with the new features that the update brought, so be sure to read them here!)

Great game! Definitely creative. Not sure if you were trying to portray the creepy feeling though. If so, I would say that the game is not scary enough (honestly, imo it is not scary at all), but surely interesting.

aight, well I tried lol. Thanks for enjoying it though!

This was fantastic! Very unique. I loved sculpting the clay limbs one by one.

thank you pussyslayer69420.

This was such a good game!! I love the unique and fresh take it brought!

This was really nice and the visual narrations were spooky!

Recently came to know about the Dybbukk and that's why this caught my attention.

Creepy, atmospheric, and downright terrifying. Good job!

Story pulled me in quite quickly!

Loved the story and the atmosphere, well done.

I found this very interesting. I have never seen a Jewish horror game before. Very well written. Keep up the great work!

The style of this game is wonderful and makes it one of the creepiest games I've every played! Even with its simplicity in play style!

The visuals were very offputting, and I loved that about it. The mix of claymation and everything visually really made the experience. The sounds were placed well throughout the game as well. Great job!

This was a neat game, I liked the atmosphere and sound effects, although reading the text with effect on was a bit difficult but I still played it with the effect turned on because that was recommended by you, aside that it was fun, good work :)

Lovely, short and creepy experience that establishes an atmosphere and shows why stakes are so high. Really enjoyed the look and feel as well, graphics and sound wise. I think it's a very nice little bite of a game, and I can see so many directions the story could go in. Eager to see more games from such a promising creator!!

The game has a nice atmosphere to it and the story itself was very interesting. I only wish the text font used was one that was a bit easier to read.

Great game though.

Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/c/Levont

Hey, thanks for playing and enjoying! I actually just released an update addressing the font issue. By pressing X, you can switch to a more legible font.

Creepy and atmospheric.

This is awesome! I'm glad you stepped up to the plate and introduced me to an amazing and untapped source for Horror. Please keep creating! You definitely have more stories to tell and I'm happy to experience them as you tell them.

I'm sad that there weren't more Yames submissions! I would have loved to give it a shot but I actually had no idea there even was one. :(
